Initial position

When product counterfeiting becomes a patient and liability risk.

  • 01Counterfeiting and unauthorized distribution channels are hardly recognizable by users.
  • 02Product, approval and use information must remain up-to-date.
  • 03Manufacturers need traceable events for quality and validation processes.

VeriSeal for your industry

From risk to Verifiable status.

01

Cryptographic authenticity

NTAG 424 DNA generates dynamic evidence; UID and static links are only complementary.

02

Digital product information

Images, UDI/GTIN, batch, documents, versions and service information remain centrally maintained.

03

Auditable events

Scans, manipulation status, assignments and changes are logged client-specifically.

04

System integration

ERP, GS1, EPCIS and production interfaces connect VeriSeal with existing processes.

This is how it works

An identity. Continuously linked.

01

Serializing

The product and label receive a unique, server-side managed identity.

02

Personalisation

The secure chip is set up with keys, dynamic URL and tamper profile.

03

Testing

App or browser validate tag data, server status and manipulation signal.

04

Documentation

The result flows back into audit, ERP, quality or service process.

Measurable in the pilot

Success becomes visible – Without marketing figures.

VeriSeal is evaluated on the basis of real process indicators. Target values are derived together from the specific application.

Scan success rate

Proportion of technically successful tests per device, type of day and process step.

Detection time

Time from tap to understandable status display for the user.

Derogation rate

Proportion of blocked, manipulated, repeated or unallocated tests.

Data completeness

Completeness of product, batch, document and audit data.

Concrete operational cases

This is how VeriSeal is in usable everyday.

01

High quality medicinal products

A near-patient scan checks pack identity, manipulation status and server-side release.

Result: understandable indication of originality
02

Medical product and device

UDI/GTIN, serial number, software status, instructions for use and service information remain accessible on the product.

Result: current digital nameplate
03

Supply chain and recall

Product, batch and event data support the delimitation of affected units and distribution channels.

Result: Product groups that can be found more quickly

Security architecture

Multilayer instead UID-dependent.

The test statement is derived from chip cryptography, product status, event history and controlled server logic. The UID remains a complementary feature.

01

Secure label

NTAG 424 DNA TT provides dynamic cryptographic detection and optionally a manipulation signal.

02

Trustworthy examination

Replay protection, key separation and server-side rules evaluate each transaction in context.

03

Digital product identity

UDI, batch, documents, images and status are kept centrally and versionable.

04

Controlled integration

ERP, MES, GS1/EPCIS and quality systems are connected via documented interfaces.

Digital product identity

Typical data

  • GTIN or UDI-DI and internal article number
  • Serial number, batch and expiration date
  • Manufacturer, product images and packaging variant
  • Use, safety and conformity documents
  • Hardware, firmware and software version
  • Label, tamper, release and recall status

Connection capability

Systems and Interfaces

  • ERP and master data management
  • MES, packaging and serialisation line
  • GS1 Digital Link and EPCIS events
  • Quality and document management
  • Web, iOS and Android testing
  • Reader, scanner, OCR and camera inspection

Classification

Process environment

  • Quality assured manufacturing and packaging processes
  • UDI-/GTIN-based product identification
  • Batch, recall and service processes
  • Customer-specific software validation and approval
  • Comprehensible role and audit concepts

VeriSeal technically supports these processes. The specific validation, approval and regulatory evaluation is customer-specific.

A meaningful start

From the sample to the robust pilot.

A delimited test combines real sample labels, real product data, system connection and a traceable testing process.

  1. 01Select a representative product and a defined packing level
  2. 02Personalize NTAG-424 DNA TT pattern and assign it to the product
  3. 03Testing, product view, manipulation status and audit trail
  4. 04Document ERP/GS1 data exchange and validation requirements

Frequent questions

Clarity before the Pilot launch.

Does VeriSeal replace legal serialization?+

No. VeriSeal complements existing serialization and UDI processes with authenticity, manipulation and product information functions.

Does each customer have to validate the software themselves?+

The specific validation depends on the customer’s use, risk class and quality management. Hawk-TEC provides technical documentation, tests and traceable changes.

Does the test work without an app?+

Yes. A secure webflow can be used directly via the browser for many applications. Native apps complement advanced NFC and provisioning capabilities.

What data is on the day?+

Only the data required for identification and secure testing are on the day. Extensive product information remains controlled on the server.

Proof rather than assertion

Technology for the manufacturer – clarity for the user.

The application shows understandable results, while in the background cryptography, replay protection, roles, clients and event logs work together.
