Initial position

Sensitive supply chains need more than visible labelling.

  • 01Originality and unnoticed manipulation must also be testable in complex supply chains.
  • 02Product and movement data must not unintentionally leave controlled infrastructures.
  • 03Permissions, system accesses and security events must remain traceable.

VeriSeal for your industry

From risk to Verifiable status.

01

Private or on-premises

Dedicated entity or operation in its own infrastructure enables full data and operational sovereignty.

02

Proof of manipulation

Tamper loop, cryptographic status and server history combine physical and digital protection.

03

Strong access control

Clients, roles, MFA, mTLS and separate machine accesses reduce attack surfaces.

04

Multiple identifiers

NFC, UHF, QR and barcode combine individual inspection, warehouse, transport and service.

This is how it works

An identity. Continuously linked.

01

Classification

Protection needs, operating model, roles and permitted data flows are defined.

02

Personalisation

Label and digital identity are assigned to a concrete object in a controlled manner.

03

Monitoring

Tests and state events generate a traceable safety profile.

04

Reacting

Risk rules and interfaces transfer abnormalities to responsible systems.

Measurable in the pilot

Success becomes visible – Without marketing figures.

VeriSeal is evaluated on the basis of real process indicators. Target values are derived together from the specific application.

Test cover

Share of defined transfers, installations or maintenance with documented identity verification.

Exceptional period

Time between detected safety event, evaluation and controlled response.

Consistency

Conformity of physical object, UHF/NFC identity and leading inventory system.

Legal conformity

Traceability of permitted roles, machine accesses and administrative changes.

Concrete operational cases

This is how VeriSeal is in usable everyday.

01

Critical spare part

Component, origin, release status and technical documentation shall be checked before installation or maintenance.

Result: Reliable part identity
02

Sealed unit

A tamper-enabled label documents opening or damage to the box, device or protected area.

Result: visible manipulation status
03

Depot and Material Flow

UHF supports inventory and movement events; NFC enables targeted individual testing.

Result: combined mass and detail testing

Security architecture

Multilayer instead UID-dependent.

The test statement is derived from chip cryptography, product status, event history and controlled server logic. The UID remains a complementary feature.

01

Object-related identity

NFC, UHF, QR and serial number refer to the same controlled object.

02

Multi-layered proof of integrity

Cryptography, manipulation status, server release and history together form the test statement.

03

Isolated operation

Private cloud or on-premise enables customer data management, key processes and network control.

04

Response traceable

Roles, MFA, mTLS, audit trails and defined transfers support safety operations.

Digital product identity

Typical data

  • Material, article and serial number
  • Contract, lot, manufacturer and supplier
  • Release, blocking and manipulation status
  • Technical documentation and permitted versions
  • Location, transfer and service events
  • Only shared, unclassified display data

Connection capability

Systems and Interfaces

  • Customer-owned ERP and asset management
  • Storage, depot and UHF reader systems
  • Maintenance and technical documentation
  • Security monitoring via defined APIs
  • mTLS protected machine communication
  • Private cloud or fully on-premise

Classification

Process environment

  • Need-to-know and role-based data sharing
  • Controlled networks and isolated operating environments
  • Demonstrable transfer and maintenance processes
  • Key management and customer security requirements
  • Offline and failure scenarios according to customer protection requirements

VeriSeal technically supports these processes. The specific validation, approval and regulatory evaluation is customer-specific.

A meaningful start

From the sample to the robust pilot.

A delimited test combines real sample labels, real product data, system connection and a traceable testing process.

  1. 01Define a clearly defined class of material or spare parts
  2. 02Define operational environment, roles and permitted data fields
  3. 03Checking manipulation, authenticity and transfer scenarios with sample labels
  4. 04Evaluate connectivity, safety testing and operational documentation

Frequent questions

Clarity before the Pilot launch.

Can VeriSeal be fully operated by the customer?+

Yes. The on-premise edition is intended for operation on customer infrastructure; Specific network, key and operational requirements are defined in the project.

Does sensitive data have to be stored on the label?+

No. The label requires only minimal verification and identity data. Sensitive specialist data remains in the controlled system environment and is displayed depending on the role.

Is offline operation possible?+

Offline scenarios can be provided, but their significance and synchronization depend on the need for protection. Online cryptographic verification provides the most up-to-date server decision.

How is a compromised object treated?+

The server-side status can be blocked or restricted. Events are logged and transferred to defined security or logistics processes.

Proof rather than assertion

Safety remains testable and operable.

VeriSeal can be operated without dependence on a shared Hawk-TEC database in an isolated private cloud or completely at the customer.
